Hard surfaces: dilute to 5% (2 caps per 1L of water). Contact time 5 minutes
Fruits and vegetables: dilute to 2% (2 caps for 2.5L of water). Contact time 15 minutes.
Then rinse with water.
Disinfection of neonatal objects: dilute to 2% (2 caps for 2.5L of water). Contact time 30
minutes. Leave it in immersion until use and rinse with plenty of water
before use.
4. Mechanism of action and biocidal activity
The action mechanism is linked to the development of oxidizing chlorine which acts on cellular protoplasmic components, destroying the microorganism also by interference on enzymatic systems due to the prevalent action on the -SH radicals. The bactericidal action speed of chlorine is higher than that of other oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide and its active concentrations are among the lowest compared to those of other products in the group of oxidants.
